葉景呂再次穿上長袍馬甲，眼中透露出沉穩與內斂。仔細觀察，長袍上的褶皺痕跡清晰可見，說明葉景呂為了拍照而特意換上了一件平日裡難得一穿的衣服，由此可見他對每年拍攝一張肖像的重視程度。

Ye Jinglü usa mais uma vez uma túnica longa e colete e os seus olhos revelam compostura e autodomínio. Olhando mais de perto, podemos ver vincos na túnica longa, uma indicação clara que a veste preciosa estava guardada e foi tirada propositadamente para este retrato.

Não se vêem adereços. Ye Jinglü posa sobre um fundo de tecido, popular na época, com um cenário campestre ao estilo ocidental. As decorações no chão denotam as características vagamente íntimas do estúdio. Na série de retratos pós-1907, Ye Jinglü segura as mãos uma na outra pela primeira vez.

Ye Jinglü once again wears a long gown and waistcoat, and his eyes reveal composure and restraint. Looking closely, you see creases on the long gown, a clear indication that he took out the treasured garment out of storage particularly for this portrait. 

There are no props. The subject is posed against a background cloth that enjoyed popularity at the time, one showing countryside scenery in the Western style. The decorations on the ground vaguely intimate the features of the studio. Among the post-1907 portrait series Ye Jinglü holds his hands together in front of him for the first time.
