傘壽之年的葉景呂在春節時拍攝了全身照。當時，正值中國“三年自然災難”最嚴重的時期，葉景呂手拄拐杖，神情漠然。 

在新中國時期的肖像照中，葉景呂首次穿上了長袍，頭戴無簷氊帽，一派舊時裝扮，照片中背景也很簡單。 

也是在這一年，葉景呂位於仙塔街的老宅被政府收去，從此，他與居住了大半輩子的老宅永遠地告別了，搬到了長子葉健明居住的三坊七巷的宮巷33號，直到終老。

Veste uma cabaia comprida, pela primeira vez nas fotografias tiradas na era da Nova China, e usa um chapéu de feltro sem abas. É totalmente um vestuário dos velhos tempos. O cenário é simples. 

Foi neste ano que Ye Jinglü se mudou para o nº 33 do Beco Gong nas Três Ruas, Sete Becos onde o seu filho mais velho Ye Jianming vivia.
