葉景呂在冬天拍攝了照片。他在說明中寫道：“女兒送衣紀念”。原來，這件嶄新的馬甲是女兒葉圭英所贈。父愛如山，孝女有心，悠悠的滿足感，顯露在葉景呂的臉上，背景中一株棕竹油光翠綠，疏朗雅致，整個畫面充滿了溫馨。 他端坐在一把卡通造型的單扶手靠背椅上，左手無名指上戴著婚戒，這是婚戒最後一次出現在葉景呂的肖像中。

As notas nesta fotografia de Inverno referem que foi tirada “pela memória das roupas presenteadas pela minha filha”. O novo colete foi um presente da sua filha Ye Guiying, com amoroso apreço pela sua grande afeição paternal. O contentamento pacificado de Ye Jinglü preenche a imagem com calor. Ele está sentado e direito numa cadeira de um braço num estilo muito caricatural. No cenário limpo e verde brilhante espalha-se elegantemente uma palmeira de bambu.

The notes to this winter photograph say that it was “for the memory of my daughter’s present of clothes.” The new waistcoat was a gift from his daughter Ye Guiying, in loving appreciation of his broad paternal affection. Ye Jinglü’s peaceful contentment fills the picture with warmth.

He sits erect on a single-armed chair of a rather cartoon style, his wedding ring still on his left hand, but for the last time in any of his portraits. A palm bamboo spreads elegantly in the background, neat and glossy green.
