葉景呂正對著鏡頭拍攝，莊重中透露出一絲沉凝。 

他坐在一把籐椅上，第二次穿上了皮鞋，左手無名指上依然戴著戒指。背後是一張和1915年完全相同的西洋背景布，但地面裝飾圖案卻悄然變化了。旁邊盛開的盆栽水仙，為畫面平添了生氣。從裝束打扮和盛開的水仙看，照片應當是在正月拍攝的，就在這一年，二兒子葉德澍在福州出生了。

Nesta fotografia, Ye Jinglü olha para a lente directamente com ar grave e solene. Está sentado numa cadeira de rota e é fotografado, pela segunda vez, calçando sapatos de pele. No seu dedo anelar exibe um anel de brilhante e o cenário que lhe serve de fundo, de estilo ocidental, é o mesmo da fotografia de 1915. O padrão do chão é, no entanto, diferente. O vaso de jacintos em flor colocado aos seus pés confere vivacidade à fotografia. A julgar pela sua forma de vestir e pelos jacintos floridos, a fotografia foi tirada no primeiro mês do calendário lunar chinês. Nesse ano nasceu o seu segundo filho, Ye Deshu.

Ye Jinglü faces the lens directly, a certain gravity showing in his solemnity. He sits on a rattan chair and wears leather shoes, the second time he has been photographed in them. His index finger still sports a ring, and the Western-style backdrop is the same as in 1915. The floor pattern is different though. The water lily in full blossom in the flower pot by the side brings liveliness into the picture. Based on how he dressed and the flowering water lily, the picture was taken in the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar. That year his second son Ye Deshu was born.
