開六之年的葉景呂再次背著雙手拍照，微露出成功商人的躊躇之態，背景祇是一簾素潔黑幔。

葉景呂再次戴上了眼鏡，和上次為趕時髦而戴眼鏡不同，今年佩戴的應當是老花鏡了。有意思的是，背景下面有塊“1074”的號牌，這是當時照相館攝影師拍照時為了怕弄混顧客的底版特意放上的，修片技師一般會後期印製照片時從底片上修掉。據此推測，這張肖像照可能是照相館提供給顧客驗看拍攝效果的樣片。

Nesta fotografia, tirada no primeiro ano da sua quinta década, Ye Jinglü está retratado com as mãos atrás das costas. A sua expressão é de um homem bem sucedido. O cenário é constituído por uma simples cortina preta e lisa. 

Usa óculos, diferentes dos anteriores mas desta vez provavelmente por razões medicinais e não meramente para estar na moda. São provavelmente lentes presbiópicas. É interessante a existência no cenário de um cartão com o número 1074. É o número de identificação do estúdio, para evitar confusão entre clientes, o qual era normalmente recortado da imagem impressa.

In this photo, taken in the first year of his sixth decade, Ye Jinglü is pictured with his hands behind him. The contentment of a successful businessman is slightly evident. The background is a clean and simple black curtain. 

He wears eyeglasses again but this time is different from the last, when he wore them for the sake of fashion. This year they are probably presbyopic glasses. Interestingly there is a number card reading “1074” in the background at the bottom. It is the studio’s identification number to prevent confusion between one client and another and would normally be cropped from the printed image.
