葉景呂手持一頂涼帽。民國時期，官紳戴碗帽、氊帽、絨帽、草帽等，庶民多不戴帽。這頂涼帽可能是為了和當鋪和茶葉店大掌櫃的身份相配套，葉景呂特地購買的吧。 

照相館的背景依然是西洋風格，相比上一年的肖像，他的神情開朗了很多。

Durante este período da história, os membros do governo e da aristocracia usavam chapéus de côco, chapéus de feltro e chapéus de palha, mas os cidadãos comuns não usavam chapéu. O panamá foi talvez comprado por Ye Jinglü especificamente para demonstrar o seu estatuto de chefe gerente de uma loja de penhores e de uma loja de chá. 

O cenário do estúdio é ainda de estilo ocidental mas, em comparação com o ano anterior, Ye Jinglü parece estar de melhor humor.

Ye Jinglü holds a Panama hat. During this period of history, government officials and gentry wore bowler hats, felt hats, woolen hats and straw hats, but most common citizens wore none at all. The Panama was perhaps bought by Ye Jinglü specifically to match his status as the chief manager of both pawnshop and tea shop. 

The studio background is still Western, but in comparison with the previous year, Ye Jinglü looks in a better mood.
